Recognition is a gift

On 20th May, the Award for Best Actor was given to Anna Ros for her performance in BIANCO, at the Golden Sparkle International Festival in Kragujevac, Serbia.

We are extremely grateful to the jury at the festival for deeming us worthy of such an accolade, which we consider a prize, a gift, a demonstration of appreciation that heartens and embraces us, giving us even more passion to continue along the road ahead.

Receiving this award in 2023 for our first production BIANCO, created in 2016 and premiered in the FETEN and Mostra d’Igualada festivals in 2017, has been a really gratifying surprise.

When you embark on a project with your first production and you lay yourself bare before everybody and say “Hello! I’m here”, it is terrifying, a leap of faith into the unknown to grab life by the hands with your eyes tightly shut! Before a space is made for you in the universe, there is a long road of perseverance requiring lots of love and belief in yourself. It takes a great deal of sweat and plenty of frowns to keep moving forward, which is why receiving this award now, in 2023, for BIANCO, our first step on the road, fills us with joy.

Receiving an award is something that you never expect and it always catches you completely by surprise, but every round of applause at the end of a performance is already an accolade and a display of appreciation for our work.
